Diamonds: 4-5 Year Olds
Designed for first-time dancers and young second-year students aged 4 to 5 years, the Diamonds class offers a delightful blend of creative movement and classical ballet terminology. This engaging program not only nurtures a love for dance but also provides students with the exciting opportunity to showcase their talents at our Mother-Daughter Tea Party and in our annual Spring Recital. Join us for a journey of creativity and expression through the art of dance!
Ruby’s: 6-8 Year Olds
The Rubies class is tailored for students aged 6 to 7 years who are prepared to advance their skills at the barre and begin refining their technical abilities. This class offers a supportive environment where young dancers can develop their artistry and technique. Participants will have the exciting opportunity to perform at our Mother-Daughter Tea and in our annual Spring Recital, showcasing their progress and passion for dance. Join us as we nurture the next generation of talented dancers!
Emeralds: 8-10 Year Olds
The Emeralds class follows a classical ballet format, incorporating barre work, adagio and allegro variations, as well as stretching and conditioning exercises to prepare students for more advanced techniques. This class is designed for both enthusiastic beginners and more experienced dancers, making it an ideal environment for growth and development. Recommended for students aged 8 to 10 years, participants will have the opportunity to perform at our Mother-Daughter Tea and in our Spring Recital, showcasing their skills and passion for dance. Join us in cultivating a strong foundation in ballet!
Garlands: 10 Year Olds +
The Garland class builds upon the foundation established in the Emeralds class, offering all its benefits while introducing students to modern dance styles alongside their ballet training. This class is ideal for dancers who are ready to embrace new challenges and take on more significant roles in our Spring Recital. With an open age range, the Garland class welcomes dancers of various backgrounds and experience levels, fostering a vibrant and inclusive environment for growth and expression. Join us as we expand our horizons through dance!

Pre-pointe Class
The Pre-Pointe class represents a significant milestone in a dancer's journey, emphasizing commitment to their training. In this class, students will engage in both written and physical assignments as they deepen their passion for ballet while simultaneously strengthening their bodies in preparation for the challenges of dancing en pointe. This pivotal stage lays the foundation for future success and artistry in ballet. Join us as we embark on this exciting journey toward pointe work!
New Pointe Class
The New Pointe class is designed for students who have successfully completed the pre-pointe class and are prepared to embark on their journey en pointe. Participants are expected to possess a solid understanding of classical ballet technique and demonstrate the strength and stability necessary to embrace the challenges of pointe work. Additionally, we anticipate that these dancers will serve as exemplary role models both inside and outside the studio.
The Company Class
Our company classes are tailored for dancers who aspire to star in our spring recital and take on leading roles. These classes offer challenging pre-professional work that pushes our dancers to refine their skills and artistry. Our company dancers have established a reputation for being compassionate leaders and exemplary role models for our younger students. They consistently exhibit poise, preparedness, and professionalism in class, during travel to performances, and especially at our annual recital.

It is hard to put into words how I feel about Village Dance Company. It truly means the world to our family! Kayleigh puts her heart & soul into every dancer, & that is clearly shown at every recital! As a mom of a dancer who spends just as much time in this studio as she does at home, I can honestly say there’s no better place for her to be! Village is her home away from home; Kayleigh is her other mom & loves her as her own, & the studio is full of her extra sisters! This is our 7th year at Village & we wouldn’t have it any other way!
